Hobart provides wire feed welders, TIG welders, stick welders and any other equipment related to assist these products, such as; spoon guns and stick welders. The wire feed welding maker is used for those with a low skill level but, is applicable to just about any type of maintenance, auto body, construction, home or, farm and wieldable with steel, iron, stainless and aluminum. The general welding equipment maker is geared more to the moderate user but, with the same applications as the wire feed machine, and welds just about any metals. The stick welders are also used by the person with moderate skill level, with the typical applications but, only performing welding projects with cast iron and stainless steel .TGI welder 
equipment maker, on the other hand requires someone with a higher skill level, performing the same applications, also with most metals. The spoon gun, which is also part of the welding equipment line, not consider a welder but, a welding gun, is used by the lower skilled and is used mostly for trailer manufacturing, sign fabrication, automobile and other aluminum fabrication jobs also, done with steel.
